Evan Bayh (D)

Evan Bayh has past political experience having been the 46th governor of Indiana (1989-1997), Junior U.S. senator from 1999-2001 He wants to create more jobs by reforming welfare to work programs. He wants significant tax cuts, preserve medicare, and strengthen the defenses and protect the US. He also has a focus in education taking pride for his 21st scholarship act which provides a scholarship to students who maintain a B average and have a clean record. This scholarship can be used at Indian public colleges and at private ones also with the amount awarded being comparable to 4 years at a public institution.
