Electoral History

Presidential Races -

In 2008 Obama won in Indiana over McCain… this was a shock as Indiana in most presidential elections votes for the republican party. In 2012 Romney won by almost 10 percent, however Indiana has voted for the Republican party in almost every other presidential election other than 2008.

Senate Races-

In 2012 Joe Donnelly, a democrat won the Indiana senate race. 2 years earlier in 2010 Dan Coats a republican won the senate race. They have been a conservative state but as of late have voted for more democrats and seem less conservative than they used to be.
